Are TruBurst verification foils suitable for ISO and ASTM methods?
Every new batch of TruBurst verification foils is tested at James Heal. This is performed by selecting ISO 13938-2, then setting the parameters as specified on the product information leaflet.
Approval of the batch is required before the foils can be supplied.
The results and test conditions are given on the product information sheet.
Customers who usually test according to the ASTM method can still use these foils to check their instruments.
To do this, select the ASTM method on the screen, then set all the parameters for clamping pressure etc. as given on the product information slip.
If the product is not tested under the same conditions, it may not perform in the same way, and the customer may wrongly conclude a problem with the instrument.
