Which wash test procedure is ISO 6330?
ISO 6330 Textiles – Domestic washing and drying procedures for textile testing, is a commonly used standard within the textile testing sector.
The standard defines apparatus and test materials, and specifies standardized washing and drying procedures for dimensional stability and appearance in textile testing.
It is not a single wash test method, but contains many options for choosing the appropriate washing and drying procedures.
James Heal supply apparatus and test materials for use in these procedures:
- Wascator FOM 71 CLS
- AccuDry, the standardized tumble dryer
- A range of detergents
- Sodium perborate
- Makeweights (Ballast)
